Gina's Visit to Canada     May 2004 I am glad to report to all of you that we're having a get together here too! Akala nyo kayo lang mga taga-California ang marunong mag-reunion. Well, hey, nandito si Gina visiting us for 3 weeks. She's here with her hubby, Willy, & 3 kids. Her youngest daughter Mariel, is my inaanak. So malutong na "Ninang" ang salubong sa akin. Ayaw namang tumanggap ng pesos! She has a hectic schedule and so does Miriam & Grace kaya we have yet to get together. Here are our pictures. From Jatzie Scarborough, Canada   Jojee's Visit to Canada     June 2004 ..attached are some of our pictures with Jojee who was here for a vacation last week. We hosted a dinner for Jojee and her special friend, Jim, on their first day here in Toronto. Grace (Maliwat) Sison and family, who live very close to us, were able to join us together with Jatzie and her special friend, Jess. The next day, Jatzie (our tour guide), Bobby and I, went around Toronto with Jojee and Jim. I am sure that Jatzie and Jojee have more pictures to share with us since they spent 2 days in Montreal. For the group picture taken at our house: beside Grace is her husband, Bing, standing beside Bobby is Jess and seated beside Jojee is Jim. As you can see, Bobby and I gained a lot of weight since moving here in Toronto 8 years ago. We brought Jojee to the same restaurant where we had "kuhol" and lobster when (Marja was) here. We also took her to the fruit market for mangosteen, rambutan, etc. Unfortunately, these fruits can not get past the U.S. border. Tama na raw sa inyo ang California oranges! Anyway, you have Goldilocks and Red Ribbon outlets, wala kami dito! From Miriam Mississauga, Canada
